Bungie announced on Twitter that it’s currently checking a Triumphs bug in Destiny 2. The progress of some Triumphs have reset, leading to the potential removal of earned Seals–and so, for some players, the loss of achieved Titles.
The bug comes after Hotfix 126.96.36.199 started rolling out. Bungie has extended Hotfix 188.8.131.52 background maintenance by four hours, with the new end time set at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET. Players also noticed the issue over on the Destiny 2 Reddit community, claiming some of their completed Triumphs have reverted back to an uncompleted status.
Destiny 2’s Triumphs are objectives players can complete to earn Titles like Cursebreaker and Rivensbane. Some Triumphs can be quite laborious to finish, leading to passionate pleas from players for the issue to get fixed.
We are investigating an issue where several Triumphs have had their progress reset unintentionally, which can potentially remove earned Seals from players.
